I called and made an appointment at Apache. I repeated the appointment back to the male receptionist to make sure i had the right time and location as they have 2. About 2 days later i recieved an online portal connection which i retrieved and filled out. The following Thursday i showed up for my appointment arriving 15 minutes early only to be told that i missed my appointment a week prior and they would not see me! The receptionist was kind but continued to lie to me stating they had called me several times and i was a no show; by the way they never called me! I took the day off from work costing me $250 because they will only see patients on certain days which i was fine with. I asked her if i could make another appointment and she then threatened me telling me i better show up or they would cancel me as a patient! I am a professional and have never been treated like this in a supposed to be professional environment! The office was very busy and i would have been fine if they apolgized and asked me to reschedule but straight up lying and then threatening me has me turned off. I will honestly say i dont want an office who cannot keep their appointments in order handeling my medical or surgery records!
I've been going to Apache Foot & Ankle for several years. Whether it is from skiing or basketball, to my new found love of running, I can count on Dr. Wittenberg to counsel me in proper care to heal the bones I keep breaking in my feet. Dr. Wittenberg is always courteous and I appreciate how he can bring levity with his cogent "glass is half full" explanations of even the worst-case news scenarios. He's very knowledgable about podiatry and is never condescending nor awash in any hubris. Apache has never tried to force unnecessary treatments on me, either, which I've strangely found a common practice with other specialists in the valley. I recommend Dr. Wittenberg and Apache Foot & Ankle Specialists without hesitation.
